A 15 minute drive will take you to the blue flag beaches of the costa del sol.  Casares beach has a beach bar "La Sal" open all year, it is a very popular eating place so make sure you pre-book. Puerto Duquesa within a 20 minute drive and has a multitude of bars and restaurants not to mention boating, water sports and fishing activities. 

Estepona, Marbella, Rhonda, are all worth a visit there are great water parks at both Algerciras and Mijas.
